listen to my band. in addition to what ian says this whole band to me was about throwing together something with little thought that sounds like exactly what you’re into at the time. neither of the releases sounded that much like what we were listening to at the time though which is cool. i don’t think we were too great but i think we at least had a slightly interesting and kind of off sound. you can also download our split with cat massacre on the same site.
This was the final Vipe recordings put out as a split tape with Boise band Downsided. It was recorded under extreme duress at the ctrl force manor and came out a lot more like Repulsion and a lot less like Japanese pop thrash, so it was a little different than the last Vipe release.
I am really pleased with the way it turned out, Clay’s vocal work is stunning, Keith wrote some awesome bass lines and songs, and Ryan really stepped up and blasted the hell out of every track. I couldn’t have asked for a happier end to the first band I played guitar alone in.
